HBAR Adoption Confirmed? This Analyst Highlights Hedera’s Tokenization Power – but Not Without Co...

The clip features Dr. Leemon Baird, co-founder and Chief Scientist of Hedera, who lays out a bold vision for the future of asset tokenization. From diamonds and stocks to electricity and real estate, Baird believes “everything of value will end up being tokenized” – and Hedera is positioning itself as the infrastructure for it.

But while the video paints a bullish picture for HBAR holders, it also raises eyebrows over one specific project – Gilmore Estates.

Hedera’s Asset Tokenization Vision

In the video posted July 29, 2025, Dr. Baird explains how tokenization is about to reshape the global economy – just like digital records once replaced paper. According to him, 2025 is the year major institutions, particularly on Wall Street, have committed to the tokenization movement.

Hedera’s key tool for that transition is its Asset Tokenization Studio – an open-source toolkit launched in late 2024. It allows institutions to configure, issue, and manage digital versions of real-world assets directly on-chain. This includes compliance features like KYC, bond coupons, stock dividends, and jurisdiction-specific rules. Unlike Ethereum’s ERC-1400 standard, Hedera keeps all asset details fully on-chain, reducing operational risk.

SHOCKING: HBAR GLOBAL ADOPTION CONFIRMED!Hedera’s Co-Founder @leemonbaird dropped a BOMBSHELL WARNING on the future of RWA Tokenization. @Gilmore_Estates = the #1 Real Estate RWA Crypto on @hedera!This changes EVERYTHING for $HBAR holders…#HBAR #Crypto… pic.twitter.com/8OtiIHO38b

Major players already using Hedera’s network include BlackRock, Fidelity, abrdn, and State Street, who’ve launched tokenized versions of traditional funds.

Spotlight on Real Estate: Gilmore Estates

One of the most discussed parts of the video is Gilmore Estates, which claims to be the “#1 Real Estate RWA Crypto” on the Hedera network. It offers fractional ownership of properties, where users can stake the G Coin (GC) token to earn passive income – mainly from rental properties in New Jersey.

Crypto AiMan’s video presents Gilmore Estates as a breakthrough in making real estate investment more accessible. Instead of buying entire homes, investors can buy a fraction and trade it globally, just like a stock.

But not everyone’s convinced. While some in the Hedera community are optimistic, others question the project’s transparency. GROK’s research notes that Gilmore Estates has stirred controversy, with skepticism surrounding its legitimacy. So while the opportunity is enticing, caution is definitely warranted.

Why This Matters for $HBAR

Hedera’s growing list of institutional partners, advanced tech stack, and the momentum behind real-world asset (RWA) tokenization all suggest long-term strength for the $HBAR token. Projects like Gilmore Estates – controversial or not – are part of a broader trend that could see everything from homes to electricity bills tokenized on-chain.

With Dr. Baird confidently stating that “everything of value” is going digital, and institutions already deploying capital through Hedera, it’s clear the groundwork is being laid. Whether you’re all-in on $HBAR or watching from the sidelines, one thing is certain: the tokenization race is heating up – and Hedera wants to win it.
