The WCT governance mechanism is undergoing a significant transformation, introducing a debate phase before voting, aimed at improving the quality of proposals and community engagement. This innovative approach allows proposers and opponents to publicly present their viewpoints, while community members can interact through questions to gain a deeper understanding of the pros and cons of the proposals.

The debate process is presented in real-time through video live streaming, ensuring transparency and broad participation. The effect of this mechanism is immediate; for example, in a proposal regarding the adjustment of payment rates, support increased significantly from 55% to 68% after the debate. This growth mainly stems from the proposer's strong response to the key issue of "high rates potentially affecting users," and the proposal of a more flexible tiered rate scheme.

The introduction of the debate segment not only allows community members to have a more comprehensive understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each proposal but also greatly enhances the scientific nature of governance decisions. Data shows that by 2025, the approval rate of debated proposals is 20% higher than that of non-debated proposals. This data fully demonstrates the important role of the debate segment in enhancing the quality of community decision-making.

This innovative governance model not only improves the approval rate of proposals but, more importantly, enhances the sense of participation among community members and the transparency of decision-making. It provides a governance model worth learning from for other decentralized organizations, demonstrating how to improve decision-making efficiency and quality while maintaining the essence of decentralization.

With the maturity of this mechanism, we can foresee that the WCT community will become more united and efficient in its future development, making significant contributions to the healthy development of the entire ecosystem.

Still engaging in formalism... I've seen too many of these traps.

It's okay, but the idealization is a bit serious.

Take a look at how many early whales are secretly manipulating the votes in these dormant addresses... No matter how fancy the governance form is, it cannot cover up the essence of capital.

All day shouting about insider information is not as good as quietly watching the community argue.
