Today is the second day of trading on the Gate exchange. Yesterday's Trb has been settled, and it feels like there is a serious lack of upward momentum.
Next, I shorted SUI with a backhand move, and unfortunately, I got trapped again. This time, the downward momentum of SUI is severely lacking.
The liquidation price of my position is at 3.388. To avoid my position being liquidated, I topped up with 15 dollars into Gate, so my principal is no longer 10 dollars, but 30 dollars.
At the moment, I'm neither losing nor making money. Actually, I just closed my position on SUI and could have made around 35 bucks, but I got greedy.
Many people feel that a few dozen yuan is insignificant, but in real life, a few dozen yuan requires me to spend several hours of time, and the principal is also small. Earning a few dozen yuan from two hundred yuan is actually acceptable in any financial industry.
Think about the old retail investors playing big A stocks. If they are lucky, they may only gain a few points in a day; if they are unlucky, they may not gain a single point in a day.
My current trading style is to seek stability rather than thinking about getting rich overnight or making huge profits in a single trade. If I were to think that way, my small position wouldn't withstand the baptism of fluctuating markets. With a one or two point rise or fall, I have to consider stopping losses. If I don't stop losses, I have to bear the risk of liquidation. Once I stop losses, I am genuinely losing money. Even if the subsequent market trend aligns with my expectations, I will still be losing money because I have already cut my losses and exited.
