Ministry of National Security Warning Case: Virtual Money Becomes Bait for Foreign Anti-China Organizations, a Salesperson Scammed out of Tens of Thousands of Dollars

According to Mars Finance, the Ministry of National Security reported three typical cases threatening national security. In one case, a salesperson named Wang from a medical device company, by chance, watched a video released by an overseas anti-China organization. This anti-China organization not only published a large number of videos smearing China but also claimed that purchasing the virtual money they released could yield high investment returns. Blinded by profit, Wang actively joined the anti-China organization and purchased virtual money worth ten thousand dollars. Unbeknownst to him, Wang's actions had already constituted illegal funding of the anti-China organization, and ultimately, the national security agency imposed penalties on Wang according to the law.
