Crypto analyst points out 5 trends that will drive the Altcoin bullish run in 2025
A recent post by Ash Crypto on X announced a new market outlook, highlighting five key trends in the industry and macro factors that could trigger a new altcoin bullish run in 2025. This aligns with ongoing discussions about a potential altcoin season from many analysts for some time.
Analysis indicates that monetary easing, ETF momentum, Bitcoin's dominance model, legal developments, and macro sentiment shifts are converging signals. The central bank is expected to cut interest rates and ease quantitative measures by the end of 2025. Ash identified the loosening of quantitative (QE) and interest rate cuts as potential catalysts for a bullish run in risky assets in the second half of 2025. With the U.S. trade deficit reaching a record high of $162 billion in March, global trade tensions are pushing central banks towards stimulus measures to avoid recession. The fact that the crypto market has seen a growing interest in altcoin-based (ETF) exchange-traded funds is also a good sign for an altcoin season. The approval of Ethereum ETFs has set a precedent, opening the door for other altcoins such as Solana to be considered for ETFs. Companies such as Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, and Canary Capital have all applied for spot Solana ETFs. Bitcoin's dominance is nearing levels seen before previous Altseason. Another indicator is Bitcoin's market dominance index, which often peaks before a major bullish run of altcoins. Currently, Bitcoin's dominance is approaching levels reminiscent of early 2021. As usual, clearer regulations can be an important part of the ability to boost altcoin or anything related to cryptocurrency. The good news is that the newly appointed SEC Chairman Paul Atkins has emphasized the need for clearer regulations for the cryptocurrency sector. This is quite a contrast to the previous administration's strict enforcement approach. The dollar is weaker and risk appetite favors cryptocurrency assets. Finally, environmental risks also play a role. The decline of the US dollar has eased global financial conditions, making riskier assets like cryptocurrencies more attractive. There are many good points and arguments about the possibility of an altcoin season happening this year. The overlap of potential monetary easing, the emergence of altcoin ETFs, advancements in regulation, and changes in investor sentiment are all great signs. While this is not 100% certain, ( there is nothing in the cryptocurrency industry ), these developments ensure close attention from investors interested in the altcoin space.
