Japanese listed company Metaplanet and SBI Holdings subsidiary SBI VC Trade jointly provide more details of their shareholder benefits program, which aims to provide additional value to shareholders through BTC-related rewards. CEO Simon Gerovich stated, 'This program is part of our free BTC offering to allow more people in Japan to experience BTC'. Specifically, Metaplanet will distribute JPY 30 million (approximately USD 200,000) worth of BTC rewards to its 2,350 shareholders. Among them, 50 winners will each receive BTC worth JPY 100,000, 100 winners will each receive BTC worth JPY 30,000, and 2,200 winners will each receive BTC worth JPY 10,000. At the same time, Metaplanet has established some eligibility criteria for shareholders to receive these rewards.
