A rally in downtown Dallas in support of the Los Angeles immigrant protest.

According to the Gate News bot, KTVT, a CNN affiliate, reported that on Monday, immigrant advocacy groups held a rally at the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in downtown Dallas in solidarity with the protests in Los Angeles.

During the previous weekend, protests against immigration searches erupted in Los Angeles. On-site footage showed a large crowd holding signs and waving Mexican and American flags. Police cars were parked along both sides of the street, and some protesters were subdued by the police. Demonstrators faced off against police in riot gear, who held shields to respond to the situation. Some protesters wearing headscarves and masks shouted insults, creating a tense atmosphere.
